Vicki is our hostess this week, and she has given us Rose Red, Island Indigo and Tempting Turquoise as our Challenge Colors. Dessert option is "Flowers."
I always try to follow the challenge without introducing any additional colors, but flowers need green stems and leaves, right? Not this week! Hence my extremely stylized flower and leaf!
Thanks go to Brenda Quintana (Qbee) for the idea for this fun fold, and to Barb Mullikin (luv my dolly) for her recent update.
I am ecstatic that I finally figured out how to trace and cut around stamped shapes with my Silhouette Portrait. Next time I'll leave a smaller white border, but no more fussy cutting for me!
Thanks for stopping by, and please join us this week!

Beautiful flower and leaf image for this pocket card, Barbara! I think cards look better when the colors are matched up rather than using colors that don't go so well together.

This is a real beauty! I love that bold flower. It can really hold its own with the graphic chevron pattern. How nice this is a functional card too! :-) Going to bring a smile on someone's face on 2 levels!

Wow Barb... this has such a bold, graphic look. You fid an amazing job coloring the flower and leaf. The way you made the white border on the flower is stunning.
