I finished this card front in 20 minutes! Usually a card is a long term project for me. I can't take credit for the idea since I purchased the stamp based on a sample card in a delightful store, Violette's, in Lakeland, Florida. All I had to do is sponge a blank piece of cardstock and stamp. Thanks to the Misti I was able to stamp it twice to capture the detail in the branches. I used chunky white embossing powder for snow. Thank you for stopping by.

This is so pretty! Sometimes I go into the woods behind our home, in the summer, and look up toward the sky through the oaks - it gives me such a calm feeling. this card reminds me of that.

Nancy, let's step back for a moment. Yes, the images and the MISTI were certainly tools but the real beauty comes from behind those images. The sky you created is just beautiful and does so much to enhance those trees. Outstanding work on this card.

Hmmm I am not sure what the rules are regarding favouring a card that doesn't technically fall into the week/ending date, but what the heck, this card is so jaw dropping gorgeous how could I not send this message!! Everything about this is wonderful my friend.

Breathtaking! The dusky background is beautifully done, and the chunky ep made perfect snow! The silver matting looks fabulous!

I think trees and silhouettes are my favorite stamps because of the grace of the branches or leaves. What a tribute you did to mother nature. This is amazing. Do you ever use embossing fluid? It makes wonderful snow too.

This card is truly amazing. The scene you have created with the stamping, sponging and embossing is just stunning. Thanks so much for playing along at Happy Little Stampers xx

Nancy, this is gorgeous! Love the trees stamp, reminds me of when we were kids and used to lay on the ground and look up through the trees at the sky. Snow is a lovely touch.
Hugs
