This is for Ky's MIX109 Living on the Edge challenge.
Since I was very slow getting going with it, I was able to use Jeanne's F4A262 Get Krafty challenge - it helped me think of a better way of adding "Meow" to my card . I think this can do for several occasions, since Meow can mean almost anything so long as you translate it inside ;-).
I haven't used these sweet kitties for a long time, and it was on my mind to pull them out. I thought that by stamping them all and cutting them out, I could create a funky edge along the card.
For my base I used Winsor & Newton Galeria acrylic paper, which is more textured than some. I used a TCW Navaho stencil with Gelatos, in colours that I had used for the frames of the kitty portraits.
Kitties stamped on watercolour paper and coloured mostly with Inktesnse pencils, some Polychromos too. Along the inside of the card, behind the cutaway edge, I stamped a wheel stamp, added Gelato along the edge and then with a wet brush washed it inwards. You can see it in the inlaid detail shot. I added some dots of Liquid Pearls, too.
Tags cut from kraft using a Sizzix die, stamped with an HA script stamp in Walnut Stain, edges randomly sponged with white pigment ink. I added some letters (would have made them glossy but didn't have time), and threaded all the tags onto some twine. They're popped up on foam tape, and to finish off I added some buttons in coordinating colours. Fun - oh the joy of a Friday off work and time to play.

Such a wonderful, creative way to create an edge to your card, Sabrina!! This looks so terrific with the stencilled bg, kraft sentiment and your cute kitties!!

This is absolutely fabulous! I love all the little details, and wow, what a great mix of supplies! Thanks so much for playing the challenge, and pardon my late response.
