Last week I had a little free time and decided to try one stroke painting again. Years ago I had bought a book and brushes - boy oh boy, was I surprised that those tutotials where ladies wave the magic brushes over a piece of paper and life-like flowers emerge are greatly exagerated. However, I did end up with a few painted flowers that I could keep. This one was perfect for the CAS313 theme of Spring. I just stenciled a purple pattern around my roses and stamped a sentiment. The hardest part about this card is to keep it CAS. I am just dying to add a ribbon and pearls. Luckily it is late and I have things to get done. TFL, Francie

Oh, My Goodness, Francie! This is so exquisite! How Gorgeous these flowers are! You did a fantastic job with painting them...the smaller ones almost look like little teacups!

Oh. my. gosh. This is stunning! Makes me want to learn all about that "one stroke" painting. Softly blending around the image with a stencil was perfect!! Into my favorites...

WOW WOW WOW This is amazing! I used to watch someone do this on PBS and I have always been in awe of this technique. I love that you paired it with the beautiful stenciling. LOVE this and I am seriously even more impressed with your varied talents!
