This week's Mixability Challenge was to pick a colour, any colour, but just one - well I had to choose green, of course - opting for mint tones on this card!
I started by painting spearmint acrylic paint onto white c/s and, when dry, embossing with the lacy EF. I coloured the flower stamp using markers and misted before stamping. I then coloured the leaves in coastal cabana with a blender pen and the flower using my Zig Wink of Stella pen. Lightly sponged around the image while it was still in the die cut. My larger square die cut I stamped with canvas stamp and used marker pen and wink of stella pen on the edges. Stamped sentiment and then die cut and adhered to card. For the butterfly I sprayed some Mr Huey's Mint Julep Glimmer Mist onto some white c/s, let it dry, and then punched with the butterfly punch. I also punched a butterfly with coastal cabana c/s. Joined the 2 butterflies together in the centre with a dot of glue and then I added a pearl, coloured with coastal cabana ink, to the centre of the flower and butterfly.
TFL!!
