This is for IC468 and Resurrect Antiques is our inspiration site today. I was inspired by the Christmas tree on Dec 25, 2013 Merry Christmas blog post found here: http://www.blog.resurrectantiques.com/merry-christmas/
I took the bonus challenge and used red rhinestones as ornaments on my tree. I have had them for a few years and have only used a couple in the past. I thought they were sized perfectly for tree ornaments to accompany the white pearls, bows and candy canes.
The picture on the post had some old-fashioned toys including a train so I added a red train at the base of my tree. I couldn't resist adding a few cats to add life to the scene. In reality I should have popped a cat coming out of the middle of the tree. At least that is something that takes place at my house. LOL!
I have taken a few step by step photos of how I created my Christmas tree. You can check out the tutorial and additional pictures on my blog post here: http://www.kittiekraft.com/2014/11/o...ree-scene.html

WOW!!! Kittie, you never cease to amaze and delight! This may be OTT but wowee!!! I love every inch, your attention to detail cannot be rivaled! That bushy Christmas tree is incredible! Love the little kitties and the toy train too! Fabulous, as always!!!
Oh my, this is fabulous!!!! Spectacular tree!!! The cats are amazing!!! Yes, a cat in tree would be appropriate! We still can't put ceramic ornaments on our tree because Storm likes to climb it and knock ornaments off!
