This is for two challenges. First TLC491 which is to use scoring on your project. After I finished my card I realized I should have at least attempted to put some horizontal score lines on here, but I was so thrilled to get this done with out any major mishaps (I cut off the only boo-boo) that I called it GOOD!
Second is a tribute to Karen (FS389) our featured stamper who has one of the most delightful galleries I have been in! Her work is crisp, creative, and with many varied techniques and her work is beautiful!
My changes on my case of her card are:
I kept the basic layout, and kept it a thank you card. I used a paper bow instead of a ribbon, used different colors, added an extra layer of matting, scored instead of stamped, and added some brilliants.
Here is her card: French Foliage by karrenj at Splitcoaststampers
I added a few brilliants in the center of my flower but didn't fill in the entire area. I cut off the "brad part" and added the fancy brad to the center of the paper bow.
My lovely friends went in together and purchased the new Spellbinder "Tool n' One" for me. They all had ordered one on line and wanted me to have one as well so this is a thank you card for one of the ladies. If you haven't tried this new tool and use a lot of dies I advise its purchase, it is AMAZING!!! Works like a charm....

Wow, some truly special work on this one. Love the bow and the brad and how you left the flower uncolored and so simple. Gorgeous as always. Into my faves! Hugz!

Peggy, this is brilliant! Your stunning creation looks like it is made out of wood veneer!! And thanks so much for the recommendation of that tool-in-one. I've seen it, but I wasn't for sure, so now I know it's worth it. Thanks! Have a great day! Hugs, Darnell
