I have been away from my stamping for a few weeks and I've really missed it! I am in dire need of cleaning up my stamping area, but I managed to squeeze around the mess to make this card to take to a church member at the hospital today. When I first got my flower die I made a BUNCH of roses at the same time, so I had these in my stash. I thought I had a more coral colored one, but this was the closest I had. The felt was cut then coiled and sticky sheet circles were used to adhere the flowers together. I cut and embossed my Daffodil square then decided I needed to emboss the Coral base as well. The leaves were cut using the Secret Garden framelits. I stamped my sentiment in Coral then sponged Daffodil in the center and Olive around the edges. This is popped over my panel. Thanks for a color combo that pulled me out of my usual comfort zone.

I'm glad you like the color combo, Gail. It was a hard one for me to pick, because I tend to go with blue, pink and yellow. We've done a lot of that recently, hence this very different switch for this week. Your card is beautiful. I love the rolled roses, and all the layers and embossing. Perfect for your friend, and I hope she recovers quickly. Thanks for playing in this week's color challenge!
