I absolutely fell in love with Sabrina's technique and Sue's Design Seeds choice gave us a lovely palette to execute it.
Cut the hummingbird from a soda can, colored with Copics and "enameled" with several layers of UTEE (While heating I held the piece with my Kelly clamp - a long handled medical instrument with gripping teeth. They are inexpensive and available through nearly any establishment that sells nurses uniforms & supplies) Mounted to Curry, stamped the ODBD sentiment and added the quilled flower. Mounted all to an Island Indigo card and done. This is stunning IRL, but very difficult to photograph. PT - 1
Thank you so much Sabrina, Sue and Jen for the inspiration. Thank you for looking and have a peaceful day.

I have humming bird feeders all over porch and back yard and this one of yours is so life like---and the quilling--a friend of mine did quilling and I have several of her woks. Great card and even greater hummingbird.
