WooHoo it is Tickle A Teapotter week. I had the honour of writing this weeks story, where young Mary from outback Australia is traveling the world. Mary accidentally deleted all of her photos, so our challenge is to bring cards that will rekindle her memories of the many homes she stayed in.
Here we have Matilda and little sister Molly. I had planned on Matilda and Molly being twins but Molly was too tall and the top of her head was higher than the window. It saddens me to say that I had to amputate both of MollyÂ’s legs and put her behind the window, now she just looks short which is better than legless.
I pre-made most of this card before DH and I left on our little caravan holiday. I carefully packed some die-cut grass, little flowers and a tree which still needed to be added. I have torn this caravan apart and cannot find that box. Hence this card is not quite how I planned. I added a bit of trellis and a leafy flourish that I found at the bottom of my craft bag. We will be home Thursday so I have plenty of time to add all the garden trimmings before sending it to my tickle recipient.
We are about to drive into a town so I can get internet coverage to upload this. Last night I climbed half way up a tree and held my ipad in the air to get internet so I could comment on the Favs of the Week thread. I joked that I might have to email DH to come and get me out of the tree (then I realised that wouldn’t work as he would have to be in the same tree in order to get the internet). Do you have the saying, “it’s all good fun until someone gets hurt”…I made a very ungraceful exit from the tree, no lasting injuries though and most importantly my ipad is fine.
Thank you for looking and I hope you all have a terrific week.

I loved your story Susie, and your card is amazing...even without the trees. I love your little legless girl peeking out of the window, and no one would know that she doesn't have legs. Wishing you a very happy birthday, my friend.

Oh Susie - stay safe! You are more important than your iPad, but I have to say that driving to a town sounds like a better option than climbing trees. I love Matilda's big airmail envelope with its happy greeting - and I love the little awnings over your windows.

Oh gosh girl how darling. Even a hello from austrailia so she knows where this picture came from. Love how you um....amputated her legs to fit, know-one will know, just looks like she is inside...super idea....even twin bikes...another super scene form our lovely Susie and girls...;0).
Hey and so glad you made it out of that tree in one piece, besides I was envisioning hubby coming to rescue you and BOTH being stuck up the tree, not the best way to lengthen a holiday...he-he....keep having fun and TY for the great story...going to go create know..:0)...HUGS

Oh my gosh!!! This is an amazing card! I can't believe all the little details you put into the design. Every time I look, I see something different that I missed before! I love the lace that is serving as curtains in this. Molly is perfect and the right size. Wonderful work! Thanks for sharing this!

Fabulous card and challenge Susie. With all you have on your plate (and I'm not talking about Mary's pets) I'm very appreciative of the time it took to do this challenge for us. Thanks so much.

This is fabulous! Love your challenge and your card! Especially like your lacy curtains and bicycles and the letter she is holding! Your detail is always outstanding.
