Spoiled for choice on the Basset Furniture inspiration site today...loved all the landscapes, especially these weed silhouettes on the beach http://www.bassettfurniture.com/Mist...ng-DZ30957.asp Except I made it more 'sunshiny'!
I inked the sand (MIX71) then created some sandy shadows with distress markers and white gel pen. Also used this to create the whitewash ripples lapping along the shore.
Will wait for a special occasion to create a suitable vellum sentiment across the bottom.

Wow, wow and wow again. Your scene is just amazing. The sand makes such a nice transition into the water that it looks like an actual painting. A magnificent work of art...pinned for future reference.

Beautiful scene. Your work with the white gel pen is wonderful - this looks so real. I love the turquoise blues you've used too. A vellum layer for your sentiment (when you add it) will be so pretty too.

So pretty. That is one thing neat about these sites. I do find something so pretty adn then see more I didnt see before yet...LOVE the picture you chose as inspiration so peaceful. I am glad I dont shop on line much or saturdays I would be so broke..;0).
Now I want to take off my shoes and go for a walk there before work. Wonderful job with your beach and sky and so pretty how you finshed it off on the side with the lacey strip...TFS..:0)
