It's my turn to host the Mix-Ability challenge, and this week's challenge is to use Reverse Masking on a mixed media project. There's a video on the challenge post explaining more.
I used Penny Black's "Poppy Time" stamp as my focal image - the bloom is such a great size for this technique. You can see in [http://mamadinis.blogspot.com/2014/0...king.html]this video[/url] how I used regular masking and reverse masking to complete the scene.
Mixed media work uses at least 2 different kinds of art media... I used spray inks, chalk inks, watercolor and acrylic paints, and acrylic paint markers.
More details, close-ups and links on my blog HERE.

So pretty and what a fun challenge. Your colors are so pretty and I just love this image. I think I need to add it to my wish list!! I really enjoyed doing this but I sure wish I would have stamped script instead of using a stipple brush and stencil.

Dina, your artwork is so professionally done! I could not even imagine creating something like this. Your use of color and techniques is way beyond me. This is phenomenal!
