I love Tulips, so I started with this background last night did the pink paint, then the gesso stenciling and finished it just a bit ago with the blooms stamped with some old watercolor crayons and the book page came from an Book of Quotes I picked up at an yard sale this morning. The tulips did not stamp this vibrantly so, I did add more crayon to them after stamping with an aqua brush. There is a closer look at on the blog. Thanks for this Challenge Birgit! & tfl.

This has a great impressionist look to it. It reminds me of when I had a week-to-a-page diary with Monet paintings interspersed with photos of his garden in Giverny .
