WT471 ~ Button It Up.
I made this for my SIL's upcoming birthday - finally I get to use sequins and they look OK!!
Because the TH dress form is quite big, this is larger than I normally make my cards, 7" x 5".
I stitched a piece of fancy tissue to the base and trimmed round it, and added a little embossing with white and Aged Teal ep.
I cut the dress form from chipboard, painted it with brown acrylic and stuck burlap over the body part. I pleated some Sinamay mesh and glued it on with a hot-glue gun, and tied a ribbon around. I added a little fabric-coated bird perched on the shoulder. Sequins are attached using French Knots with silver floss. I used Joanne's Pearlized Button tutorial to make a couple of large buttons. The chipboard was embossed with a fan design, and I used several colours of Perfect Pearls.

Sabrina this is AWESOME. I love your cool buttons, but the "dress" is over the top. WOW! I love that you mixed two textures. Is this unlike you? So pretty.
