Wow! 9 years for the WT challenges. That's a lot of different cards and techniques. You ladies who come up with these wonderful challenges ROCK!....my card...
I started this yesterday for the SC challenge but ran out of time. SO today, I just added more stuff AND the date stamp for the WT challenge.
For my bg, I used the gelli plate and did a block printing technique that I learned from an on line class I took from Carla Sonheim. She does some really unique stuff with the gelli plate.
I also added the white dots using a stencil and light molding paste. When dry, I drew around some of the dots with a pen.,
I stamped the flower with versa mark and white eb'd it then doodled around it. Also stamped the little birdie coloring it in with a Bic Marker.
Added the black and white checkered duct tape because I have a whole roll of it. hehe
Added the date stamp that I bought to use on my mixed media pages. After I stamped the date, I doodled the lines around it for a frame.
Put this panel on a black card was almost done until I saw a heart sitting on my table, so I cut it out and popped it up on my card. Now I was DONE.
Well I have my grandson coming over soon so I best ready the house if you know what I mean. Have a great evening all. Oh, we are finally getting some much needed rain. YEAH!.....TFL :0)

I love your approach to creating these awesome cards! Using doodling, gelli plate and the unusual techniques to always create such an artistic card! I just tried the gelli plate and what a mess I had but I admit, it was SO fun and probably would be more fun if the paints were a bit fresher!

I am loving ALL the parts of this card! I have been on the fence about the gelly plate, but I think this adorable card may just put me over the edge. Those doodles are TOO fun! Thanks for celebrating the WTUI 9th Anniversary this week!

How fun and cheerful. I bet those paste dots look even better in real life when you can see the dimension more, 'cos they already look pretty cool on screen. I love the fun idea of a blue heart instead of the more traditional red or pink - it's a wonderful contrast against the warm colours of the bird panel.
