This is my card for the LOVEFEST2014J challenge" to create a card that is either Cute & Fun or Classy & Elegant", and the CAS261 challenge "Color My World" - to make a cas card using a colored base.
No neutrals! That includes white, ivory, kraft, grays and black.
After embossing the Core'dinations paper in the gorgeous Rustic Wreath ef, I applied Rub-N-Buff and various Silks acrylic glazes to the wreath using q-tips, a paintbrush and my fingers. I used a SB Grand rectangles to cut it to the same size as the cream A6 card base.
I stamped the sentiment in gold on the back (smoother) side of a scrap of the Core'dinations paper and heat embossed with gold ep. After die cutting the circle, I edged it with gold ink and embossed with the gold ep and attached it with clear Kool Tape for dimension. I love how this turned out; I think I'll be making several of them in different colors for my Christmas cards this year.
As always, thanks for looking!

Beautifully elegant, you combination of embossing and gold highlights (that is a messy little process, isn't it?) are gorgeous together. You definitely nailed the classy challenge, Jody!
