For me, these colors screamed the open sea. So I brought out some very old & some of very first SU stamps. I used smoky slate as my neutral color. I stamped my old world bg stamp on it and then embossed using the square lattice folder. I found that gave it an old look without any distressing. I wrapped some twine around that piece. I then took a piece of watercolor cs and misted it with water. I then used my aqua painter & soft sky reinker to create my watercolor wash. After it dried (I hurried it along using my embossing gun) I then stamped my image in midnight muse & matted on Bermuda bay. I rounded opposite corners and tied a knot in the upper right hand corner. I then popped this up over my twine . I think it turned out pretty well, especially since I don't use the watercolor wash very often. TFL ladies.
