This is my card for IC429 to be inspired by the Wee Folk Studio Site. Thanks, Polly for recommending this. What a cute site. Made me want to SEW! This was my inspiration
I think this little house is so adorable. I love all the little stitches on the stones. I didn't do those, but did put together a card that I think I will never give away. I love it.
I started with a brick embossed piece of CS glued to black CS. I inked the embossing folder with Ranger DIstressed Walnut Stain before embossing. Next I cut off the top of the embossed piece so I could fit a burlap roof on. The tree is - I believe - a Cheery Lynn Die and is an RAK from Precious Kitty. Thanks so much, Jan.
The door hinges are spellbinders die cuts and are clock hands, and the doorknob is a window out of a Tim Holtz Cityscape die. The door itself is a piece of the same CS as the house, but inked and run through the cuttlebug.
On the roof peak is a die cut spellbinders button from the same set as the clock hands and it's tied on with twine that frayed all over the place. The black sheep is an RAK from Gabalot. Thanks, Gabby! and I thought the place needed flowers so stuck on the Primas. I bet the little people built it the same way I did - with found objects. I love it to pieces. I hope you do too.

This is QUITE amazing! SO glad you were in the favorites and I didn't miss this brilliant creation of many different elements all coming together to build the cutest "little people" house I have ever seen!
