This card is for Sharon, a friend of Karen (Redbugdriver). She lives in Surprise, AZ.
Karen let us know, Sharon is a very giving person and has a hard time accepting. She will think she doesn't deserve to receive these cards, but she will appreciate every single one of them. Nothing comes easy for Sharon. She's recovering from her 14th surgery and it seems that not one that I know about has been easy. She had an 'easy' foot surgery and while in the recovery room, they got her up and she broke her other leg. She was in a rehab facility for 3 months! .
She only listens to Christian music, her favorite color is purple (she loves SU Elegant Eggplant), she's very proud of her 2 granddaughters, one plays volleyball on her college team. They live together in AZ. Sharon moved there in June last year to be with them. She is proud of her roses. She is retired from American Airlines (not a flight attendant). She enjoys reading, her Bible included. We did several Bible studies together. So Scripture would be welcomed.
I will include an encouraging scripture on the inside. Forgive me for not commenting right away. I have a cold in my chest (very troubling) and still having stomach issues. I am going to lay down. Just wanted to share my card.

You've created a beautiful scene here and it is perfect for the 2nd verse of the hymn! Wonderful!! TFS

Since I'm so late getting to commenting - I hope you're feeling a bit better by now, Kathleen. I'm sure that any chest problems are not fun for you.
Your mountains definitely show more lofty grandeur than mine, though we were both inspired by the same line in the song. Those hydrangea with their antique look are really so pretty and add depth, the way they frame your scene.
