I will fix it in the morn...and explain this out of the box...opps, chest card! Here goes...
So like a heart surgeon, I am back to fix my upload! When I was at my wonderful Oregon Art Supply store, I couldn't help but spy this realistic image of a heart and being the quirky, wonky artiste that I am, I had to have it! And so it's been patiently waiting in my studio to 'Exercise' it...to put it through it's paces, to start life SUPPORT. And so, thank you kindly Cathy for bringing us this fun heart-shaped sketch.
I used bits and pieces of dp scraps for the panels of my card...'vintage' Basic Grey here and Daisy D there, with a tad of My Mind's Eye thrown in for fun. The Love postmark with the cancellation 'Paris' (thinking of you, my oHIo friend) and heart shaped stamp is unknown rubber found at Goodwill...two whole sheets of cling mounted red rubber images. I love that flowing font, don't you? The pink main panel is embossed with the classic Textile Cuttlebug ef, I added vintage German scrap in black. I actually cut it 2/3 the top with the scallop and 1/3 the bottom that has pinked edging. Finished it off with a crystal tag marking the years [27], a pink velvet brad and a red metal arrow.
Thanks so much for looking and leaving your thoughts...I know dear hubs will have a heartwarming {mine} laugh over this one! And after *27* years, it is still good to giggle...

We still giggle after 50!! Good for you and DH!
Love your HEART out of the ...er...chest. Not many could use it and not get "ick" as a response! Artiste to be sure. TFS this wonderful Valentine!

A Susan classic - what a perfect sketch for you to break out your heart. I love all the detail with the arrow and the little crystal tab with the years. I see your trademark staples, too .

I have to say this card is, without a doubt, the most unique in today's gallery. I can't say that I find that heart at all romantic, but I sure do appreciate your "wonky" artistic creation. A sensational one of a kind!

Only you could take a "real" heart and make it into a beautiful Valentine! .....or is it an anniversary! Either one, it's just so, so....well, YOU, Susan. Outstanding!

Leave it to you to be a closet cardiologist! You are the only person I know that would actually have an anatomically correct heart and use it for a card for DH! I love it. Reed will to! Congrats on 27 years. LY
