We're off to Switzerland for a tea-party with plenty of chocolate this week! In fact, we're talking Chocolate, Cheese and Cuckoo Clocks as well as other things Swiss.
My chef is actually serving up some fine Swiss wine (oh my - we were at a big expo and couldn't get over the amount of small local wine companies!!) and cheese rather than tea and chocolate, but I do get my extra cookies for the Bon Appetit sentiment inside ;-).
His trousers are pieced with vellum, and on the wall behind him is a very amateur watercolour of the lake pictured in one of the photos of the challenge thread. We had a 1km scramble up the mountainside to get to the lake - and even after going through the washing machine once there is still mud on my jeans. I think I'm glad that it was starting to get dark so we took the longer route back along the road instead of scrambling back down the mountain. My ankle is a bit unreliable these days! But even in the dusk it was worth the climb, and the sound of the cow-bells ringing across the lake was just magical!

Sabrina this is terrific, so much to look at and smile about. Thank you for taking us to Switzerland this week, everyone's cards, stories and comments have been great. I think it is safe to say that most of us Teapotters would love to get together and have a glass or two of wine and cheese, followed by chocolate of course. Thanks again Sabrina. Xx

Great card & story. I especially love the bg elements to this card - the floorboards, baseboards, wallpaper, etc. Nicely done. Thanks for sharing your Swiss adventures.
