These little girls are whispering about Lydia's "Dare To Get Dirty" challenge.
I love making vintage cards, sometimes I wish I was born 100 years ago, then I remind myself that 100 years ago they didn't have embossing folders, cuttlebugs, Simon Says Stamp,Tim Holtz, metal dies......splitcoast stampers....oh it must have been dreadful back in 1913.
This is just a normal square card, layered with a lovely dp by Authentique. The little girls are cut from a 12x12 sheet of Pion Design paper called Almas Sewing Room.
It is hard to see in the photo but the window box is about 1/4" deep. The lace curtains give a 3D look to the window frame. The frame was made by placing 1/4" score tape on cardstock and then cutting with a blade and ruler. Acetate was used to look like glass.
I have torn the house apart and can't find my rolled rose die, so the big flowers are just circles cut round and around. The little flowers were made with my Martha Stewart hydrangea punch.
Kittie747 and Blooms in a Box (Pat) never fail to inspire me and everything I know about flowers and windows is because of them. I almost faint when they comment on my cards LOL.
Have a wonderful day everyone and a huge thank you to the Dirty Girls who have made this week possible.

Every card you make is amazing! Your flowers are lovely, you didn't need your rolled rose die. Wish you lived closer then I would let you come and borrow my die...(so I could watch you make one of your masterpieces in real life...smile!
