This card is for this weeks colour challenge CC425 hosted by the fabulous Karen Barber and perfect for Mother's Day which is today here.
Basic Grey (not a lot of that)
Blushing Bride
Pink Pirouette
I have to say my mum in-law loved it.
I used the larges of the dies from the Enchanted Labels 28 set and didn't quite take it to the very edge of some folded Blushing Bride card, this meant that it formed a card base.
I cut the second die from the set with some X-press It blending paper, then I sponged SU Pink Pirouette around the edges and well into the card.
I then went over the edges again with SU Basic Grey, I stamped off some of the ink from the sponge before I started blending, I attached the second die to the front of the card base with SU Two way glue pen.
I stamped the Mother's Day greeting onto some X-press It blending paper with SU Basic Grey and then over stamped it using my SU Stamp-A-Ma- Jig with clear embossing powder.
I used Spellbinders Labels 13 to cut the greeting out and I then sponged around this label with SU Pink Pirouette.
I cut out the leaves from Cherry Lynn Designs Fanciful Flourishes B117, cut them up and placed some on the top of the greeting and behind the flowers.
The flowers are stamped from the SU Fabulous Florets stamp set, that have been coloured with Copic Markers then cut out.
Hope you enjoy the card and thanks for looking.
Cheers Marg
