What an inspiring site this morning! Two cards made, and another one in my head (DH had a laugh at the "Alcohol, because no good story every started with someone eating a salad" plaque, and that surely calls for a chalkboard card), though with sunshine and warmth outside the garden might be more of a priority.
The two cards I did make are both birdhouse-inspired.
As soon as I saw the Vintage Camper feeder I knew that Happy Camper would make a perfect card for a friend of DH's. First time that stamp has seen ink, too D:.
Base is customised to look right - 5 3/4" wide by 4 3/4" high.
White card, masked and sponged for the hills, foreground and sky (Peeled Paint, Tea Dye, Mowed Grass, Broken China). Details stamped in mostly with Kittie Kits Master #1, and the sand from Shore Thing for the foreground (Forest Moss, Peeled Paint, Tea Dye, Walnut Stain, Seedless Preserves, and Olympia Versafine Green). Liquid Pearls added to the reed grasses. A stray splodge meant moving the caravan more to the centre than I wanted, but DH prefers it and the card's for him to give, so...
Caravan stamped on kraft with Versamark and embossed with white EP. Watercolour crayons for colouring a few details, and Sharpie markers for the silver and black. It's popped up on foam.
