Today's CAS challenge is to use only line stamps (we were allowed solid sentiments). I wanted to make a sweet 16 card for my niece as my DD (who is also about to turn 16) is flying out to my brother's for a visit today. I have used a similar layout with this stamp before and decided this would work well today. I used the stripes ef to emboss the bottom 2/3 of my card. I then put it onto the borders scoring plate and the scallop was hitting in just the right places so I scored the scallop at the top of the stripes. I embossed the flourish oval in black then inked the sentiment in Versamark then Cherry Cobbler and embossed in clear. I die cut my numbers in glitter paper. Final accents are rhinestones and a Cherry Cobbler silver brad bow. I'm loving the way this turned out and can see using it for special anniversaries as well!

This is a great design, CAS but with some undeniable elegance and sparkle to it! What a great way to use that Elizabeth stamp. I just posted a sweet 16 card myself yesterday for my niece as well- congrats to yours!

Beautifully done, Gail - your combination of textures is fabulous and your use of the elegant stamp and bling are just perfect. BTW, Lydia featured this on the FB page. Kudos!
Will be out of town visiting DS...have a blessed Holy Week and Easter.
