This card is on it's way to Jean, a cactus lover, who is suffering from macular degeneration and can no longer craft. I bought these 2 desert stamps on a trip to Las Vegas at a local store called Viva Las Vegas. I masked the cactus and then stamped the hills. The scene was then watercoloured. It's finished off with a leather strip and buckle.

Elizabeth, this is a lovely scene, but looks like it might be a little on the warmish side there....

You got to visit the Viva Las Vegas store - I am envious! I sometimes look at their stamps online. Love the owl perched there, and your black framing and the belt add a wonderful wild west feel. You could easily use this design as a great masculine card!

Elizabeth,
Wow - this is such a gorgeous scene and your coloring is wonderful. The beautiful sky is breathtaking! Your card will deliver some cheer to Jean!
