I'm able to join the tea party this week as it involves my punchie pal and very special friend, Nancy, nwilliams6. It is to send a Valentine card of love to her special parents. Her mother has cancer and we'd really like to cheer her up.
Nancy says her Mom likes cows, flowers, crossword puzzles, etc., so I incorporated 2 of them in their card. The flower and the cow; however, if you look closely there are squares on the first layer b/g which could be used for a crossword puzzle, don't you think???? The sentiment is "goofy", but that's because I generated it myself. What else would you expect from me?
Nancy, your Mom is a real trooper and your Dad sounds so wonderful. I hope this will bring a smile to their faces. Hang in there Nancy.
I decided since it's QFTD152 week, I'd find a card I could use to inspire this one. Even though I cased this card of Mary's, and it is flower based, I thought the layout would work perfectly for this card. CONGRATS Mary!!!
I colored the images with a variety of copics, sparkled up the sheep and added a fence like a real barn yard! I double popped up the image and nesties, added a b/fly I had in my stash from AudreyAnn and added a flower and wood heart in the corner.
I self-generated the goofy sentiment, used a tag diecut with thread running through it and lightly sponged.
The dsp is actually 2 separated layers with a border heart punch. I heart punched a bottom border on the inside and added an array of dsp punched hearts.
That's about it! I will be sending this pronto to Nancy's parents and wish Mary a very exciting week with the crown!!

Pamzi your card has captured the entire essence of the Tea Party challenge for Sara and Leavie. I love the animals-they are so cute. Your little heart on the flower is very sweet and the sentiment is awesome. It couldn't be more perfect. I can tell you put a lot of thought into this card and it is spectacular.

What a gorgeous and sweet creation, Pam.....I like your 'crossword' in the background. I especially like your colours here....and the fence and twine to go with the cute barnyard scene!

Pamzi, this is lovely! I love that image. I always kind of liked the image, but after seeing it on your card, I LOVE it. You spiffed up those animals for sure with lovely coloring and glitter. You know, that cow looks like Pumpkin (Little Archie's Mom), Pop use to raise hogs, and they have chickens too. They will adore this one. Your layers, details and colors on this are fabulous. I am soooo glad you participated in this. I have talked to Mom about you and she will love it because it is so beautiful but also because she knows how much you mean to me. Hugz - lotz and lotz of them! PS - is the spy camera in the butterfly or the flower - I can't decide. LOL!

Totally cute card! Love the barn animals (punchies in disguise by any chance lol) and the papers and nestie shape you used. Glittered sheep is precious
