This week our cards are going off to Illinois, to Becky, who has been undergoing many treatments for Leukemia. She recently had a marrow transplant and has to be extrememly cautious because of germs.
It is a Red, White and Blue theme this week with extra cookies for a motorcycle...Yum, cookies please!
The bike is a free digi by Bird's Cards. All the stars were made on my Cricut using the Stand and Salute cartridge. I made the pleated flower a while ago for one of the TLC challenges, but never used it. So this was the perfect time to pull it out. In the center white panel, you see the negative of the stars with the edges coming forward and the lighter blue paper with white stars behind. I tried to make it look like the stars are coming out of the exhaust and trailing up the card.
Thanks so much for taking a peek and why not make a card for Becky too? We have lots of fun at the teaparty!

Kathleen, if I had time, I would count all those stars!! How fabulous! And I see y ou got a "bike" in there too. Love the RED die cut and rosette as well. This is a YOWZA card.

Oh wow!!! You have so many wonderful details here, Kathleen. First off it was the lacy rosette that caught my eye. Then I loved the trail of stars behind the back - and lastly I noticed those negative stars with the edges lifted a little - that looks just great!
