Sorry, this was done on Tuesday but I didn't have time to post!
Beauty was getting tired when she suddenly heard a strange noise. She wasn't frightened, more intrigued and drawn to it. She followed a path through a small meadow and over a crest. She saw a beautiful pristine pond. The sound seemed to be coming from the water. Beauty walked up to the water's edge...and gasped. There before her was the most handsome creature she had ever laid eyes upon. She was fascinated, but mortified and tried quietly to slip away.
Too late! The other bird had seen her and began swimming hard toward her, calling as he approached. She looked about, trying to see if there were any more birds nearby that he might be calling to, for she knew in her heart that it was words of love that he was speaking. Blushing, she looked down and finally saw her own reflection in the water. Beauty had become her name and she finally knew just where she belonged. Swans do mate for life, and the pair lived on that pond year after year, breeding many a ballet of offspring. Confused? Don't be!
