I'm sorry to say I haven't attended a tea party for a while - lots of life getting in the way and not enough hours in the day! but I really wanted to play today as our cards are going to Terry, my stamping friend Charlene's (Lilluvsstampin) DH who has some serious health problems and could use some cheering!
Our theme is Clint Eastwood's movies - translated into stamping - my card is for Mother Mark's #6 option - Paint your Wagon (Paint your Background in stamping jargon!) I sponged my background with Ranger Distress Wild Honey and Scattered Straw.
My western stamps are from Waltzingmouse Way out West and Back in the Saddle.

Oh, my dear, dear friend, Julia....your painted bg is so stunning. This beautiful scene so reminds me of when we drove out west many years ago and saw the cowboys riding their horses. I think your card also qualifies for the High Plains Drifter movie!
Thank you so much for taking time out of your busy holiday schedule to make this wonderful card for my sweetheart. I know he'll appreciate and love it, too!

Oh wow! Welcome back!!! What a gorgeous sponged background you have made!!! Your use of color is perfect!!! It is easy to see what is near and far with the different levels of color! Love your silhouetted cowboy and horse, it is the perfect image! GREAT sentiment too! AWESOME card for Terry!!! Really beautiful work!!!
