This is my card for Teapot Tuesday & MaryLou, a gal in Florida dealing with multiple medical issues. She loves the Lord & teddy bears, hence the somewhat confusing theme of Scripture & bears. Our story involves Sonny & Honey bear whose den was ransacked. They are searching for appropriate clothes to wear to the last soiree prior to their winter hibernation. Our mission is to bring dressed bears.
Heres my take on the Teapot Tuesday story: After searching high & low, Sonny finally remembered that he had tucked his nightshirt & nightcap under his pillow. Fortunately, Brownie didnt think to look there. Sadly, Honey doesnt wear anything for night due to her recent hot flashes. She sleeps in her bare (bear) skin. She does keep a pair of cute bunny slippers under her side of the bed which Sonny found. Unfortunately, the search has taken too long & they can barely keep their eyes open. They will skip the party this year, clean up the den & take a nice long nap.
There are 2 Scripture verses on the bottom portion. The 1st is from Psalm 55:22, the 2nd from Psalm 68:19. I hope this card brings a smile to MaryLous face & encouragement to her heart.
