My friend Kathleen (Lammie) asked me if I wouldn't mind making a birthday card for her dear mother. Of course I said YES! Dorothea likes flowers so I chose to use my lily of the valley stamp which is my favorite flower so this card will be like a bouquet of my favorites to her. When I was getting the idea for this I wanted to make it very feminine and use a lot of white...and that got me thinking of the lovely cards that Linda (Holstein) makes. So I went to her gallery for inspiration....and boy did I find it there! Here's to Dorothea on her special day!

Aww...how nice of you to come to the teaparty this week and make this wonderful card for Kathleen's mom...she will be loving this sweet little boquet in her mailbox! It's beautifully done, in such soft and feminie colors......A beauiful birthday boquet!

Polly! Wow, I'm so glad to see you here at the Party...and with such a gorgeous creation! Yes, I see Linda's influence (great person to choose for inspiration!) but also your unique and beautiful touch. I love your choices in images, color, Nesties and the embossing is such a lovely touch. Really beautiful card. I hope to see you again at the tea party...really the most fun to be had on Tuesday!
