I started with a base of Chocolate Chip. Used versamark to stamp the compass all over it. Then I have a piece of paper that is a map. I inked the edges with CC ink. I cut my twill and using Teeny Tiny Wishes I stamped get well wishes on it. Then I stamped the airplane on a piece of Crumb Cake. Cut it out with a nestie. Distressed the edges then used ink on them. I popped the image up on dimensionals. I have some tools that are metal but I just couldn't get any of them to look right on here. I added big eyelets for some more visual effect.
This is for the Teapot tuesday challenge.
Hope you like my card and thanks for looking.

The eyelets are great - they kind of make me think of looking out airplane windows. And I love the juxtaposition of the plane and the map. It reminds me of a couple of books by the guy who wrote The Little Prince.
I'm certainly hoping you hadn't seen anything like my radio before , I think it was an original idea. In as much as it can be! The paper-engineering book was part of my Moddy Christmas purchase ;-), but it's only the mechanics - finding inspiration to use them is a whole nother story.

Great card. I like your embossed background and the vintage look of this. The eyelets were a fantastic touch!

Oh, Sylvia, this is so full of MAN STUFF - maps, compasses, airplanes and OLD looking (guys don't say 'vintage') your distressing and the MAN eyelets (no sissy little pink things) and the touch twill really made this card ooze testosterone!
Golly, did I spell that right! Arrrgh, arrrgghh, aaarghhh!
