My computer does not always like to do what I request, so I could not watch the video, and I am not so good at reading instructions and following them. I used the lightest dye ink I could find - still a bit dark, I know. But it got so uneven on the embossed piece - I have a few extra pieces, and they are all pretty much the same. (I do not have a brayer, so just ink directly from the ink pad.) Suggestions?

i too like it a bit uneven. i used a pigment pad on part of mine and that made it more uneven. but that adds texture, which is always good. lovely job.

Umm, I don't think you need help. It may not look exactly like the video but it does look lovely. I didn't even bother with a brayer, just used my pads. But I guess not all pads are equal - it's easier to get a thin coverage with something like the distress inks because the pad isn't spongy. I have a couple of rejects that I didn't want to use yesterday but that will be OK for other cards...
