This is for the try a new technique challenge which was to use your pencil. I love to draw, and sometimes when I don't have a stamp I will...but when it was the challenge...lol...I blacked out at what I wanted to draw...lol...so many decisions which is NOT my forte, just ask my hubby...lol.. but I finally decided to copy of one of my old favorite cards that had the stamp on if from lily of the valley. It looks better in color and it didnt quite turn out exact, but not too bad and I colored just her ribbons...and that silly glitter glue spilled on me again....lol...right where her little hand muff?...is...that silly bottle.
so I drew her, shaded her with pencil, then the only pencil color I could find in my stash at the moment was this little pinky one so used it to color in the bits. I sponged the edges with ruby red, then did the layers.. of cream black and a bit of the red scrap of dp i found that matched the ruby red at least a bit.used my edge punch for the one cream layer and then just the fancy scissors for the corners. glued on the little candy cane for a bit of Christmas effect, and didnt know where to stop so added the littel buttons on the bottom.
thanks for the fun challenge and thank you for visiting...:0)

What great drawing!! WOW! I love the simple sponging and the glitter, even if it spilled!
