What a fun inspiration for today (IC246). I enjoyed perusing the Pink Taffy site. I really liked this yellow and white creation http://www.pinktaffydesigns.com/yell...es-p-1392.html. I used yellow and white ribbon with polka dots like the photo but changed the daisies to sunflowers since I did not have a daisy stamp. The background is all white like in the inspiration piece.
I always enjoy looking at creations that are clean and crisp with just a little detail, so I decided to give it a go myself. I don't do this too often but I think I like how it turned out. I used the Harvest Blessings and
Light from the Full of Grace collection from Our Daily Bread Designs.
The sunflower image I did not cut out by hand!! I actually used a die now available at Our Daily bread Designs. It made it so much easier and less labor intensive!! The image is nested in the Labels 11 Spellbinder die
which is embossed with Divine Swirls (Cuttlebug). My card background is dry embossed with a vine. The ribbon is SU Crushed Curry.
Thanks for looking!
