I know you probably cannot see it but there is stitching around the blue insert on the heart. It is already on the image so technically I am cheating....I think. I am also ribbon challenged and should have used a larger ribbon but I do not have any. I added white liquid applique under the snowman and heated it to add a little texture representing snow.
This is another image from Designed2Delight and it was free for participating last week using Faith's current new image. After this post, I will be able to get her next image free too. Wonderful way to build up your digi file with great images free!!!! You can find more about this challenge here .
It was very hard to do a winter scene after returning from Builders for Christ in Kansas City, MO where it was extremely hot and humid. I tripped on a hole in a rug the first day there and it was extremely difficult to be on my feet from 5:00 am to 8:00 pm. It was so worth the pain though. We had a wonderful group of young men and women who worked very hard that week to help finish the roof so they could start working on the inside.
Thank you for looking.

I think a bigger ribbon would overwhelm this. Mind you, that might be because personally I don't *do* wide ribbon very well.
As I was doing my second write-up I was wondering did STICKING things to the card base count ;). But definitely his arms are little twiggy sticks.

Your card is "snow" ADORABLE! Being CREATIVE is not cheating! Love that you thought outside the box, as did Cook22 with the adhesive helping to stick down the layers!
Hope you are feeling better? If you hurt your knee the first day and continued to work, I am sure you worked it out!

Sput, what an adorable snowman card!! I see you're getting ready for the holidays early! I'm wishing for some snow big time. Tired of all this heat and humidity. Sput, can I still be a "Pammy-Jo" even though it has been so long since I commented on your gallery? I don't want to lose my "JO" position. I feel incredibly honored by it. If you say I'm no longer in the same league, I will understand and hold back my tears. I miss seeing your collection and hope I can visit again soon!! You did an incredible job on this card!! TFS!

I have been missing my Connie Jo! Had to come see what Country Connie was up to, and this snowman is melllll-ting my heart! And surprise surprise, I think I have that ribbon, hee! Or at least a snip of it left. I LOVE the colors and the paper piecing and the awesome embossed background!
