Wow, I never...well, I never thought I'd use this rose for a birthday. I was tallking about my old sets the other day with Judi and thought this rose looked sad, well because it reminded me of sympathy cards I suppose. But like I am an eternal ambivalent, I just had to turn this around and use it on a birthday card!
The sketch is beautiful, used Betty's colours, they are beautiful but I always have a hard time when there is no blue around...lol I kind of dig the results though. How come my cards look better in picture than in real life???

Wow, your card is so rich-looking!! I love how you used the challenge colors (very vibrant!) and this week's sketch. Your coloring job on the lady image is fantastic. So very nicely done
