This was my first attempt at the beautiful roses that Patti Bennett has on her blog. I embossed the flowers them you use aqua painters and reinkers to give the color. Next time I will use more ink and less water for more dramatic color. Please visit my blog for more ideas. www.creativepzazz.blogspot.com

It's a really simple process. Heat emboss the roses first on SHIMMER White cardstock from SU! It has to be that particular type of CS. I have made my own Shimmer white CS using some alcohol and perfect pearls, which I sprayed on regular white CS. It worked ok. I think it is the mica/alcohol barrier that makes the process work so well on the shimmer paper.
After it is embossed, you spritz the paper with water really well, use reinkers and an aqua painter
(water in the barrel brush) to add color in the areas you want, and heat set to dry.
Patty Bennett has a great video tutorial on YT about it, and she is a fantastic demo for SU!
Thanks again!
