This week in teapotter land, we are trying to help Rapunzel out with the opening of her new salon; Castle Classy Cuts...We were to drum up some gossip to lure the locals into the salon...I think that has been accomplished... see here for more:
Looks like the locals are starting to arrive...If anything is going on in the township, Hilda and Tilda are right there to check it out...they are 2 of the busiest busybodies you ever did see...They will tell you that there ain't nothin goin on that they don't know about...including who Derek is really letting sneak into his cave...
So they came early and got a front row seat on the patio for drinks so they can catch any juicy tidbits...they would like you to believe that they don't need to partake of the cuttin but why do you think they have those rediculous bushel basket size hats on...hmmph...
CurlyMae thinks someone should tell them that gals of a certain age should wear stockings and shouldn't be a'wearin blue eyeshadow...
This was a gift image that I colored with Prismas and tombow markers...added some bling and a feather to Hilda's hat and a prima flower to Tilda's hat..
TFL...

I was so worried your two busy bodies were not going to make it to this weeks teaparty that I almost gave up looking for them. Sure glad I gave the gallery a second look.

They are my kind of girls - wonder if they have any of those drinks left? I could use one after the sad little week I have had (no time to make a card - boo hoo). I am working on my card in my mind though. I love your card - it is so funny! Great coloring too and that feather is super on that hat. We should get some hats like that - I am when I decide I am old enough (you know - when I am old I shall wear purple with a red hat... that is me!).

Your tilda and hilda are a hoot, girl. Love the feather in the hat. Plus, your coloring is terrific. And then there's your story. You put that all together and you've got yourself not only a fabulous card, but one heck of a story too.
