What's hilarious about this sample is I actually bought these napkins to use for this technique, despite the fact that I had 80 squillion beautiful party napkins at home.
The Manhattan Flower is stamped on an old book page and then colored with a blender pen with burgundy and chocolate chip ink. The ribbon is chocolate chip and the rub-on is from Autumn Harvest.
I demo'd this technique at Maker Faire last year to the amazement of mostly 5 year olds

You crack me up. Can you send me a few of your napkins? I only buy white bounty ones. LOL
Your card looks wonderful! Thanks for sharing the technique with us (this coming Wednesday). Hugs and smiles

Gotta a question... Can you layer one napkin over another napkin, using the process one over the other?
I love this new idea!
1. I have seen so many great napkins over the years
2. You always have napkins left over (and there's never enough left over to use again! FUN idea...thanks!

Hi Marie - you may just need to heat it for longer. I used Target Brand and Saran wrap brand (NOT the heavy duty) and they both worked. But every iron is different for the time it takes. Also, try just having one sheet of newsprint on top instead of two.

i really liked how you took an old book page and created a rose, that is an awesome technique. i will try the felted cardstock technique once i get some newsprint.

Thank you ever so much for this FANTASTIC idea! I collect (almost) as many napkins as I do stamps and now I can finally justify "saving" them for the right occasion (LOL!) Thanks again for sharing the technique. Your flower is fabulous too!

This is one of my favorite techniques! I'm such a klutz though that I use freezer paper instead of the plastic wrap lol. I ask my friends to bring back pretty paper napkins and tissue paper when they travel overseas and I now have quite a collection of 'international' felted cardstock pieces!
