I absolutely adore this card. I have such trouble making man cards and this one really hit the nail on the head!
I found these stencil and embossing paste at Marcos paper and they had the neatest examples so you know I had to try it!!!!
You take the stencil, tape it down lightly and rub the paste over top very quickly because it dries really fast. Then peel it off, let it dry and you can add the gold leaf after you pat it a bit again with a glue pad. It is kinda messy, but worth the effort.
It is so darn beautiful in person.
I also got the tree stencil and couldnt decide how to make it, so I just started sponging on ink. Then it sort of started resembling a sunset and I just went with it and this was the end result. I added all sorts of colors in and just kept sponging and blending until it looked nice to me.
I added in the gold baubles from Stamping Bella to spice it up a bit and a little added ribbon.
TADA! My man card! I hope my Daddy likes it!
Thank you for looking!

Friends are like the walls of a house. Sometimes they hold you up, sometimes you lean on them. But sometimes, it's enough to know they're just standing by.
