I made this card using today's sketch 226. Thanks for such an awesome sketch , Roxi!!
So many of us are unaware, including myself, of what the families and individuals who serve in our armed services go through. So many of my friend's families are scattered abroad and families are so often separated. Many husbands and fathers are deployed. Several of my friends have been saying goodbye to their hubbies. I feel for them. I made this card intending to send it to a dear friend of mine whose husband just recently was deployed. I wanted to let her know how much we appreciate the sacrifices their family makes for our country and that I was thinking and praying for them. I thought the eagle and sentiment from "In God We Trust" and "God Bless America", sneak peeks to be released from Our Daily Bread Designs on May 1, would be very appropriate. I used my fave dp, Parisian Breeze!!
Hope she likes it!!

What a wonderful thing to do.. I know it will bring tears to her eyes...What a nice way to tell her how much you care. To take the time out of your day to think of others in this manner is truly an act of giving. As always Chris, another fabulous card.
