This is the card I made for Emily, today's Featured Stamper (Ink-E). I had not seen Emily's gallery before and what a treat! Emily Congratulations, you are a wonderful YOUNG stamper! This is the card I cased: TLC179 lots of blintz by ink-e at Splitcoaststampers
This is my story!
1. Okay Beth, what's the deal here today? On a day when I am feeling another year older as a 52 year old, you feature the youngest SCS featured stamper ever! Someone 18, someone 34 years younger than me! Yikes! What? We don't have any stampers that are 104??
2. Okay, so the question of the day is this. What does a 52 year old stamper and an 18 year old stamper do differently!
3. An 18 year old has the energy to fold all those dinky little squares (amazing Emily!). The 52 year old stamps letters.
4. The 18 year old will pierce all around the squares. The 52 year old uses a quick and easy cuttlebug!
5. The 18 year old probably could plan this card in her head 5 minutes before making it. The 52 year old has to drawn the squares out, write the letters in the squares and make sure it *works*!
6. The 18 year old has a quick description for her card probably because she has a hot date and can't take the time to get too wordy. The 52 year old gets too wordy!
Emily, your cards are wonderful and you are very impressive. At 18 years old, I was so not making cards! I was in a panic asking my older sisters if I had missed Mom's birthday! Congrats to you!

MM, you are such a hoot. I never miss clicking onto your thumbnail as I know a great card and a great story are waiting. Love your commentary about comparing us 'mature stampers' to the up and coming stampers. I deal with that every day as my 12 year old is quite the stamper. Your card for Emily is wonderful and I know she will be excited to see it.
PS HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MOTHERMARK!! AND MANY MORE...
