Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge and the Teapot Challenge.
My stamping has been VERY limited these past few weeks, as my mother is in the hospital. She is slowing slipping away from us, and it is very stressful for us. Thank you, everyone, who has been emailing, PMing, and sending cards. You are very much appreciated.
Today, I decided to focus on creating a multi layered scene. It is MUCH easier than you imagine. I cut out the layers and placed them on a scrap piece of paper with removable tape. I started with the moon. I used a punch to create a reverse mask and sponged in the Paris Lights and the Orangerie. Next, I used the Copic Airbrush to create the night sky. I started with a medium blue, added in a darker blue and a green. I touched up the edges with a black Copic/airbrush.
The tree was the next thing I stamped in Noir. Then, the bats, Speedy the Cat on the broom and sentiment. I stamped the ghost on a different sheet of Wowza Watercolor Paper, colored with Copics and cut out. And, of course, Speedy the Cat is headed to the Tea Party, he's going to steal that Trick or Treater's Candy and bring it along to share with his Feline Friends!
Finished size: 4 1/4" x 5 1/2"
Total Time to complete: about 55 minutes.

Wow, that night sky is gorgeous. Praying God's strength and comfort for all of your family. I know how tough this is.

Faith, I am sorry to hear what you are going through with your mom. My prayers are with you. It has to be hard.
Your card is just gorgeous. And yes, it looks difficult but you always give excellent instructions. Love the colors and love your speedy the cat.
