Hi! This card was made for today's Sketch Challenge.
I swear...It's one of those evenings...I saw the sketch and thought, hmmm...I bet I could fit the violets on that...So, I stamped the image onto watercolor paper and embossed it in gold. I decided to cut that out with a Nestie. Next, I stamped the image again and embossed it in gold, too. I colored all the leaves and stems and layered the papers so that the leaves were hanging over the cut. I was really truckin' along. I dry embossed the gold metallic panel and adhered it to the red gold embossed designer paper and wrapped around the ribbon and cording. I even put everything together and realized I forgot to color the flowers! LOL! So, I had to go back and color the flowers. I grabbed a RED marker by ACCIDENT!! YIKES! So after I had colored all the flowers and used an aqua painter to blend, I realized I had to take everything apart and start over! LOL! Oh, well! Teaches me to listen to tv and stamp at the same time! LOL!
