Is your DH like mine--and almost every other guy out there? Hates putting holes in the walls? Must be an Y chromosome thing. I've become very adept at puttying and painting so he never knows I punched in three different holes until I finally was satisfied with where the picture was hanging. There will eventually be consequences for the subterfuge. You'll see the headlines, 'house collapses due to Swiss cheese plaster'; but, until then, I'm going to get out my drill and blithely hang the artwork.
This card reminded me of hanging Victorian oval-framed feathery things on a plaster wall sans a picture rail. That's what got me started on the hole-in-the-wall theme.

Ooooo, I need to find this stamp! My DH has a really old Christmas ornament that his grandmother made that looks just like this bird. What a great image to use on a bunch of Christmas cards for his family. Love the colors and design you used.

First of all I just about died laughing reading about your husband and the 'hole in the wall' issue. It sounded just like my hubby and me! And I too put about 3 holes in the wall before the pic is hanging where I want it. It drives him nuts! Plus, to make it worse, our house is well over 100 year old, so the walls are plaster. Now my hubby believes one should only pound nails into a stud. However, the studs are NEVER where I want to the hang the pic. So I put my nail where I WANT it, and it results in the small nail hole crumbling and becoming a big hole and looks like someone's fist went thru the wall. But thats o.k. I just cover it up with a picture. lol. Anyhow, your card is just lovely. I have this image myself and don't use it much because Its hard to know what to do with. Now I will have to case you.
