This is for today's challenge to use a button on your card. Well, this is a button alright -- a BIG button. It is one of the Dritz buttons that you cover yourself, probably like for a pillow or something on that order. I had it left in my sewing stash. It is covered with fabric that I used to make a maternity outfit for myself about 20 years ago -- I just KNEW I'd need that leftover piece of fabric one of these days - LOL!!!
This is also for yesterday's sketch -- love that sketch -- I think it'll be a regular in my gallery from now on -- a truly great one -- thanks Rox and Claudia!!!
Oh my, I didn't realize until I saw this on the monitor that I forgot to put a stem on my flower -- oh well, this can be a stemless flower!!!

Love the story behind the card. I have a whole room of fabric.
The scraps I keep are all special. What a wonderful job on this challenge. I love the big button flower it reminds me of my cone flowers.

What a fun thing! I truly was thinking that you had this card in mind, knew what colors you were wanting to use, ran to the fabric store, bought the fabric to coordinate with the card, came home, covered the button, made the card and uploaded it here for us to see! Whew! I feel better that's not the case, that it is a 20 year old leftover button. But, it doesn't diminish how much I like it. I LOVE IT!!!!
