I'm finally getting to my Christmas Cards - and this one is for 3 special challenges! The first is for this week's Queen - Angella Crockett. Angella has an amazing talent for creating unique and beautiful cards - what a wonderful time I had visiting her gallery!! I quickly fell in love with this beauty: { AngellaÂ’s AMAZING Bleached Dahlia Happy Day Card }
Her card is breathtaking!! And seeing all her wonderful ODBD creations inspired me to check out the ODBD Challengs for this week, and then to choose this wonderful ODBD Poinsettia Collage Image. Changes were with colors, number of layers and flourish.
This card is also for Our Daily Bread Designs Shining Light Challenge #129 - To make a Winter White creation. I love white cards so this was a fun challenge for me!! {ODBDSLC129 Winter White Challenge Link}.
My third source of inspiration was from today's IC Challenge - Anne shared with us a website that I'm very familiar with, especially around this time of year. It's Angelic Dreamz - and I chose this wonderful Peace votive: {Peace Votive}
To make this card I stamped the Poinsettia image in Chocolate Chip Craft Ink and clear embossed it on SU! Naturals Vanilla cardstock. I then bleached inside the flower petals using a small paint brush. The bleach didn't whiten the area as much as I'd hoped, so I went over it with a White Prismacolor pencil. I added some shading, die-cut and punched my shapes, created the flower center, outlined and colored the gold areas using a 18K Gold Leaf pen, and assembled. I love this image so much I really wanted to keep the card as 'CAS' as possible........ So I kept it to two layers with minimal embellishments.
Thank you Angella for your amazing inspiration!! Enjoy your crown - it's well deserved !!!!
Hugs Everyone!
Audrey

Audrey, I must have my head in the sand - how on earth did I miss this. This is drop dead gorgeous. I love the 3-dimensional design of this beauty. White on white is so elegant, and your creation is no exception. Beautiful

OM Audzi - this belongs in in an ART gallery for sure! I love the layers and the elegance - impressive stuff here. If Pamzi and I were going to argue over a Christmas card this year (which we are not - we are taking a break this year), this is the card I would fight her over. Wow!!! Hugz to you!
