This card covers today's Featured Stamper,,Laura, who has a wonderful gallery...and yesterday's inspiration challenge to use something in your home for inspiration. This is Laura's card that I chose to CASE. I used the basic sketch, changed the colors, cuttlebug folder and stamp set and I hope I did her card justice. CC134 by scrapnextras at Splitcoaststampers
The inspiration for the stamp set I used was the kokeshi dolls that I bought when we were stationed at Yokota AFB outside of Tokyo 40 years ago. I had just recieved the "Gifts from the Orient" set in the mail after a hard fought battle for ownership on Ebay !!! HA HA I knew exactly what I was going to do for yesterday's challenge but didn't get the time to play. So I scoured Laura's gallery this morning and this card fit what I was looking for. So I have a 2 for 1 today. In the Japanese to English translation "Furenzu" means Friends...which is what we have at SCS...

I love your card and I really love how you photographed it with your doll collection. I have this set and have never used it. It was given to me as a hostess gift. You have inspired me to get it out. tfs:-D
